The abstract will be accepted based upon defined categories indicated below (with a general option: ‘KD and innovations’). Abstract can be related to any relevant area including clinical studies, dietary approaches, and general or specific research areas.
Abstracts can be submitted at the below link. Abstract submissions will be assessed, and the successful applicants will be notified by email if they are accepted as poster presentations or short oral communication during the main sessions of the meeting.
The submission site will require the authors' details and the uploading of an abstract.
- Important dates for poster submissions
Opening date for poster submissions: April 1st, 2025
Cut-off date for ‘early bird’ poster submissions: June 16th, 2025

A limited number of travel awards will be offered for some abstracts. These are available to students or junior faculty (postgraduate students [Masters/PhD], or attendees within 3 years of first permanent academic appointment, or junior clinical appointments, and dietitians and related). The grant will cover the congress registration and a maximum of 2 nights’ accommodation. Attendees who would like to apply for this support will need to indicate this in the submission area.
Some posters will be selected for a brief oral presentation (‘Flash talk’) in the associated conference session. The flash talk will enable the presenter to give short overview of the poster (using up to 3 power point slides, in a maximum of 4 minutes) to the audience. This is primarily to support the training, experience and exposure of new researchers in the field. Follow-up questions will be encouraged at the posters. Invitees will be notified at least two weeks prior to the start of the meeting.
